People somehow care more about meaningless Internet points, that they not only refrain from saying what they mean, but they also actively say things they don’t believe. They will say the things they assume are popular, to get the points.
But then here’s the question: are those things you say (without believing them) actually popular, or are others agreeing for the same reason you’re saying it?
You can’t spend all that Reddit “karma”, so just be real. **Say what you mean, and mean what you say** (humor and sarcasm not withstanding). Your heart will feel lighter when you stay honest with yourself, and that’s worth far more than Reddit” karma ever will be. It’s just plain **better for your mental health**, no matter if people (you don’t even know) hate on you or not. Just do it.
