When I think Anime Corner these are the top 3 shows I think of personally. Not watching any of them here but feels up their alley.

4 through 9 though are all show I’m watching and enjoying…except that Slime needs to move away from the meetings lol

    2. Date A Live placed first last week on Anime Corner, Anime Trending and other non-english rankings. So it’s placing really high up except here. After the madness in this week’s episode, I expected nothing less.

Chart seems like it’ll be stable/boring all season without large jumps like Fall 23 (Vexations, Ragna Crimson, Dark Gathering, and DMDP). From the new shows, only 7th Prince has had enough quality action scenes to do something similar and it hasn’t made top 10.

Date A Live above Mushoku Tensei and Konosuba? Really? And it was number 1 last weak aswell?

I watched season 1 and it was god awful. Are the later seasons alot better or something?

MT is going to go crazy this week but with DAL’s margin, it will probably still be #1 again. It is what it is.

I thought Kaiju no. 8 would have jumped a bit higher this week ngl.

    6. Let’s go Date a Live number 1! 🙂

Spice and Wolf and Konosuba also doing great, little bit sad that An Archdemon’s dilemma lost some places, but top 7 is still great

Again what i am personally missing here is Chilling in another world.

This is a pretty strong top 10.

Mushoku Tensei, Wind Breaker, and Spice and Wolf each deservedly got their highest places to date. I’m not sure which of the 3 I’d have ranked highest, but they were all awesome. It’s nice to see Dungeon Meshi holding it’s top 10 slot as well.

And finally, I should be able to comment on DAL next week as I’m working towards getting caught up right now. I hope the newest seasons are as good as people say they are.

    8. Wind Breaker is creeping up there folks. You may want to get in on this one if you’re not watching it already.

I’m just gonna write a whiny complainy post to vent so whatever:

But first i want to say how good this season of Konosuba looked. Maybe i just forgor, but it might be the best konosuba has ever been?

Anyways, Kaiju no8 lost the character design lottery. The faces are just too uncanny for the kind of story they are trying to tell. And the humor is easily one of the worst parts of this. Which is a shame because the other technical aspects are well done.

How to love your elf bride is something i dropped last week. Overall it feels like any other “streamlined” adaptation of this kind of anime with very little to show for. It’s just unremarkable in every way. The ost had a few nice pieces though.

Wind Breaker is basically zero substance junk food. It’s the “in the moment” easy fun excuse for a few nice hand-to-hand combat sequences. Has it’s own Zenitsu-type character. I’m not sure for how longer cloverworks can pull me in on this.

My gripe with the new spice and wolf anime is that i can see where it’s upgraded from the old one, but i can also feel how the new downsides are negatively impacting my enjoyment. The visual style is just not as strong, and while it does have a few good sequences, i’ll continue to hate on the colors. And once again i’ll mention my disappointment with the OST, many pieces are at odds with the scene and some are rather unclear with what emotion they are supposed to bring forth. It’s a shame since i love Penkin’s work on MiA. Watching the new version feels like auto-pilot, rather than an emotional experience.

And it pains me to say but the direction of Mushoku Tensei continues to be subpar. There were a few standout moments but overall very little interesting visual ideas, and a few failed ones. They are probably saving the big guns for a later part of the season, judging from the OP. The first season was flawless in it’s execution so seeing mediocrity for so long after is a shame.

DAL, Wind breaker, MT, Kaiju, Spice and wolf all had incredible episodes this week. Perfectly deserved of all the higher vote percentage.

This season has been stacked with so many amazing shows. Some of them like Jellyfish, Girls band cry and train which are not even in this list.

Love the rise in rank for **Wind Breaker**. Between the absolute beat downs in ep 5 and the more level but no less intense fight in ep 6 it is delivering all the action, without any magic or massively abnormal superhuman abilities. But it’s also not just mindless action, it has some actual character work being displayed and set up. And if this is how the anime is handling these first fights I’m looking forward to what’s to come.

Date a Live dominates. Nothing more amazing than that.

Nice to see Black Butler up there too, as well as Spice and Wolf moving up. I also appreciate seeing Archdemon and Kaiju No. 8 in the top 10.
