What is up with this anime? One minute it makes you laugh and the next minute, it touches your heart. And I know what Nikki is coming from, music impacts us so much! They help you through dark times and make you cherish good times. And the singers that are in our lives, their music lives on!

And I love it. <3 Can't wait to watch the full episode eventually – hoping S2 will air on Toonami like what happened with S1! – to see the scene where she fights against Taiju. Also definitely curious about the dubbed voices for Ukyo and Yo, once we get to them.

Reminds me of Queen during Live Aid, where the whole world was moved by their music.
Everytime I see this part of the anime it really hits hard about the idea of losing over 2,000 years of world culture. Every record, cd and digital media is gone. Books no longer exist. Film and Video games are just gone. All that creativity and history we created is just gone forever and theres no way to recover it all except for in our memories. SO if i heard a song like this, i would defend it with my life as the last piece of the world i once knew.
