Sounds like most American High Schoolers. The education system in the US leaves most of us feeling rudderless and lost. Its also the time folk like me finally realize how rigged the system is against folk living in poverty or folk with working class parents.
You start asking, “why bother, it won’t matter. I’m going to be a landscaper like dad or a plumber or stuck working minimum wage for the rest of my life.”

Well, thats how life is for most people
Im 19, 2nd year in college
Life is mundane, do my assignments, write my tests, score decent marks
come back home and rot in my room
And then….
