The programming block aired on Saturday mornings in most areas of the United States, though some stations carried it on Sundays (often due to scheduling conflicts resulting from the block airing on stations affiliated with other minor networks that had their own older children’s anime program blocks which competed with FoxBox/4Kids TV, including the Kids’ WB on The WB and later The CW, and for its first year, the Disney’s One Too block on UPN). On October 2, 2007, 4Kids Entertainment announced it would program a competing Saturday morning lineup for The CW, the new block, The CW4Kids (later renamed Toonzai, with the original name becoming a secondary brand), premiered on May 24, 2008, replacing the Kids’ WB programming block, which had been carried over to The CW from one of its predecessors, The WB, when it launched on September 23, 2006. The block was renamed as Toonzai on August 14 , 2010, and continued to air until it ended August 18, 2012, being replaced by Vortexx a week later and the block continued to air until it ended on September 27, 2014.[7][8]
On November 10, 2008, 4Kids Entertainment announced that 4Kids TV would conclude at the end of the year due to intervening conflicts between Fox and 4Kids, as the latter company had not paid the network for the time lease for some time, while the network was unable to maintain the guaranteed 90% clearance for the block due to affiliate refusals and an inability to secure secondary affiliates to carry the programming in markets where the Fox station denied clearance for the block. 4Kids TV ended on December 27, 2008.[9][failed verification] Fox announced that the four-hour time period would no longer be used for children’s programming, owing that it was no longer viable due to the insurmountable competition from children’s cable channels (such as Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, and Disney Channel).[10] On January 3, 2009, the network gave two hours of the programming time that the 4Kids TV block occupied back to its affiliates, while the other two hours would be retained by the network for a paid programming block titled Weekend Marketplace, which replaced 4Kids TV on January 3, 2009.[11] The 4KidsTV logo now only exists as the closing logo for 4Kids Entertainment for shows produced by the company distributed outside of the United States (particularly those made before the 2012 auction of most of 4Kids’ assets to Saban Brands). #saturdaymorningcartoons #foxbox #nostalgia #cartoons #bootleg #oldcartoons #classiccartoons #anime

TMNT 20003 was my first Turtles. I loved how close it was to the source material and very dark for a kid's show. It even set the precedent for TMNT 2012. Good times…

That episode of TMNT with Casey Jones brought back memories
I've been enjoying your work and I sent you a fiver on cash app. Thank you for all that you're doing 🙂
It’s kinda sad that Saturday morning blocks like these aren’t really around anymore. Stuff like it and the Friday night cartoon blocks on Nick and CN made getting through the school week worth it as a kid.
I wasn’t into Foxbox like I was with Fox Kids but those years…those years were alright for television and Saturday morning and it has some legit shows like TMNT and Kirby
lineup
1. TMNT (4:00)
2. Fighting Foodons (49:03)
3. Ultimate muscle (1:08:24)
4. Cubix (2:00:50)
5. Winx Club (2:44:19)
6. Cramp Twins (2:54:05)

Good times!
Those were the days.
Kirby Right Back At Ya! was my show back then! It also helped me develop a love for Kirby and got me quickly into playing the games when I was ignoring them (when I was younger I thought Kirby was just some wimpy character and didn't bother playing his games; after watching the anime I was like NOPE he's strong lol)
Good cartoons
