…and now for something completely different… CORRECTION: For some reason I said Boom Boom Satelites but the band is actually Burnout Syndromes. Big yikes on my part. Sorry about that. I drop some hints here and there but largely this video is spoiler-free for anime only watchers. Here are the two openings creditless: Original: https://youtu.be/tF4faMbs5oQ Remix: https://youtu.be/MEGBF9stDy0 For updates regarding videos click here! https:// twitter.com/EditsRegistry If you want to give me some extra support… Much love! https://www.patreon.com/registryedits

  1. After watching the two OPs, I have to say I like the original better. Both are visually great, but the first just sounds better. It isn't echoing some of the notes at the beginning.

  2. Yay! So happy to see a video on Dr Stone! This anime needs more love 🥰🥰 Like the comparison between the 2 ops, am more excited after seeing this! Missed the foreshadowing of the demonic face, cool! Hee would love it if you compared more videos like these :)) I'm your patreon~ hehe hmm am I the only one who prefers the new opening?

  3. Idk how others may feel about this op but It’s got to be my favourite tbh, it feels a lot more cinematic and it give weight to the story and in a way feels more like a twisted and more serious version of the original, like something mysterious and dangerous is looming in the background. Like the feeling of them being watched in a way. But it also feels like they’re moving into a different technological era, especially with the more orchestral approach with the remix.

  4. I think remixes/part 2s are most of the time worse then its original, however this isnt the case here. They took a 9/10 opening and made it 10/10

  5. Since I already read all the volumes of the drstone manga, I can say that the first 2 seasons were only the beginning, the same thing happens with vinland saga, I expected something good, like the opening 3 but I like it anyway, thanks for animating this wonderful work and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do

  6. Registry, can you make a video about episode 15 of Summertime Render? The animation was really fluid and impressive in that episode and it makes my respect for Studio OLM goes to another level. I would appreciate it if you could view the scenes in episode 15 of Summertime Render and make a video about it.

  7. Dr Stone Ryusui rekindled my love for Dr Stone. Wasn't a big fan of Season 2 (I know it the war with Tsukasa needed to happen but still). Ryusui brought back what made many people so invested in Dr Stone which is exploring science and real life knowledge.

  8. We need to focus on the lyrics… This lyrics are the second verse of the original song, and it implied Season 3 from the start! it says “Crossing the Sea of despair and into the new world. Southern cross illuminating the course, in the direction of shining will, Let’s expand the world!”

  9. The way that the intro is just the first one remastered feels like they pulled nanbaka where they crudely changed the intro and made it worse

  10. I like the 1st version but the 2nd version better, mostly because it feels like an epic… like it's an op that you would hear at the end of Dr. Stone

  11. So there's obvious spoilers for Dr Stone in my comments so you've been warned.

For the Ryusui Special, I think the animators took liberty and have foreshadowed certain parts coming later in the series.
    1. The moon being focused on is a reference to the final goal of going to the moon.
    2. Whyman also is there in the opening.
    3. The changes in lyrics also refers to Whyman's only messages, being why and what not.
    4. The song is honestly perfect for Dr Stone since philosophically, the opening is perfect to describe Dr Stone's story.
