  1. 'food is a fundamental human right', okay then working is a fundamental human responsibility and that will be the only way for one to be able to eat…

  2. Food is not a human right. How do I know, because you don't have the right to someone else's labor and someone grows and makes that food. Additionally, the climate change initiatives are causing famines in the name of cutting carbon emissions. Farms are being shut down because of the cries to lower emissions and what do you think happens when you shut down the farms?

  3. All the government will do is create another bureaucracy, eating up most of the money. There are plenty of organizations already doing this ver effectively, here & abroad.

Use your leadership to advocate for them instead. Educate the people of organizations that rate these charities so people can decide which to donate to. In short, be a leader, not a bureaucrat.

  4. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ wouldn't it be a nice change if folks like him were so DRAMATICALLY concerned about the AMERICAN CITIZENS needing food? The AMERICAN CHILDREN needing food, first? I'm also curious as to how money will solve "climate change" cuz they keep demanding we the tax payer give Cash but they never say how that Cash will help. never a plan, idea or solution, it's always just give money.

  5. …a fundamental human right…..to be given food that someone else had to work to produce? nah. rights come with responsibilities and its not the responsibility of americans to feed every hungry mouth in the world. America is in no position to "end world hunger" thats a silly utopian fund raising slogan. when you feed people that dont feed themselves, they multiply, creating more mouths that someone else is expected to feed..

  6. Everything is a "human right" or a "constitutional right" with Democrats and it's fucking annoying
Even violence and hatred is a "human right" as long as it's their side doing it

  7. The US has steadily opposed any internationally agreed document that considers food as a human right. It is the only nation that has neither ratified the Convention on the Rights of the Child nor the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. Moreover, it was the only nation that refused to sign the final declaration of the 1996 World Food Summit and it stood alone in opposing the right to food being included in the 2002 World Food Summit declaration.
