同じ西崎プロデューサーが「ヤマト２」と「ヤマトIII」の間に
制作された「宇宙空母ブルーノア」(1979年)も観てみたらどうでしょうか。
ｄアニメストアで観れます。
これは、海洋冒険アニメを作りたかった西崎プロデューサーが
それでは企画が通らないと宇宙空母と言う名を冠して制作に
こぎつけた作品です。そのため、終盤になるまでブルーノアは
宇宙に飛び立ちません。作風も地味だったため、39話予定が
24話（第1話のスペシャルを分割して27話の場合あり）に短縮されました。
