  1. Heloo, to all the people asking what the name of this track is… idk. The official OST has not been released yet and all I did was transcribe this by ear based on what I heard in the episode. Sorry everyone 🙁

  2. They really introduced the most cliche and generic shonen character ever just to take him out of his "Evil vs good" type of world and throw him into the tragic grey reality so we could see his descend into madness.

  3. This is the biggest, most impactful and emotional scene in my 15 years of watching anime. After all the despair i've watched and read this is by far the epitome of it all

  4. I watched this entire scene in complete horror, the soundtrack is a masterpiece. One of the best scenes in TV history to evoke true fear to the watcher. Can’t imagine how the animators felt.

  5. Man, when they changed the Composer from Hiroyuki Sawano to Kohta Yamamoto, I was devastated but Yamamoto smashed me on my face with his amazing scores like Ashes on the Fire and this one.
You all gotta accept, the music is an integral part of the whole Anime.

  6. yeah this scene really hits so hard knowing it means absolutely nothing and eren killed them for absolutely nothing… could have just avoided this one place but nope got to make sure everyone dies so that eldia can truly be safe. but of course the racist marlayans should be spared because that will surely usher in an age of peace

  7. The depiction of this particular sequence evoked an overwhelming sense of emotional anguish. Mappa's expertly crafted visuals, coupled with the captivating voice acting and the stunning original soundtrack, truly elevated the overall impact of the scene. It is a testament to your exceptional skills that you were able to do justice to the intricacies of the soundtrack – an exceptional accomplishment!

  8. “We used hate, raised hate, believed hate to be our savior…

We left all the problems we created on the ‘Island of the Devils’ ..

And as a result, that devil was born.. To return the hate we gave it.”
