I have mixed feelings about the ending, kinda dislike how Adam got away with everything and was redeemed so easily, dislike that Tadachi is still a "dog," dislike that that lady who seemed like she was gonna have a big role was not important at all in the end, Miya didn't get an apology from Reki for being left behind, and Shadow didn't get to date his crush after all this time… :/
Other than that this anime was awesome and I'm definitely gonna miss these lovable characters! The Langa/Reki conversation in the car, their hug and their final beef at the end were mega wholesome! I liked that Langa seems to have fully moved on from his father's passing and be happy again, especially remarkable when you see him visit his grave at the end. Reki teaching his little sisters how to skate is adorable. Miya being acknowledged by his classmate was a nice touch. Cherry and Joe are still bickering and doing their thing… and just the 6 of them having fun and being their own little group was what we all like to see.
I'm still hoping for a possible season 2, maybe it'll be about snowboarding? Who knows!
