I started yesterday to watch your reactions to Mushoku Tensei and just finished E21 – and now I can finish my binge with the last episodes! 🙂
The feels with that dream sequence. Great season finale, can't wait for S2 which was announced.
Well. As someone, who has read the novel, I think that this Zenith sequence is told not as Rudeus' dream, but HER feelings and thoughts, because we were given this short glimpse of where she is at the time
22:22 It's the first time we heard Rudy in his new body's voice doing the inner monologue and not Sugita. Though I'm not sure if we will hear Sugita's voice again because he was there when season 2 was announced.
Also, now that you've seen Sylphie, it's safe to reveal it. She was one of the people on the balcony during Sauro's execution at the end of episode 14.

If you look closely to the background of the execution scene, you can actually see Sylphie!
Eris didn't tell Rudeus where she will go because he will talk her out if she did. Leaving him like that is the best way for her, also she lack communication/writing skills at this point so, that was her only message she can write. In the novel, her monologue was a bit longer and the anime didn't give her justice.
