That's for about 10 minutes of the drama. When she returns – at the very beginning – ML is instantly chasing her, wanting a second chance. What's this humiliation? Again, at the very beginning, he told her he didn't want her. It wasn't public. Point is – ML is fine for 90% of the drama so there's no reason for her not to go back to him. Once again, I'm amazed at the lack of forgiveness in viewers.
