Rintaro HIT Toki HARD With This One | Fragrant Flower 171
Whoa, Renro coming in with the talk no jutsu. It’s a critical hit. Heyo guys, I am still recovering from this flu and it really kicked my ass last night, but it’s fragrant flower Wednesdays and the algorithm don’t wait for nobody. So, we’re back with chapter 171 and can I say that was pretty antilimatic. And hold up, before you blast me in the comments, wait just one moment because first you got to hit that like button. You got to smash that like button and subscribe because every new sub gives me strength in these trying times. But first, seriously, the chapter. It starts off with Coro and Renro from chapter 64 where Renro is holding her because the idea of being caught really does terrify Coral even though she acts really strong about it because of the unknown repercussions that could lead to her school life. And then we immediately jump back to the meeting where Reno is going to tell us how he only ever thought about himself. And then here Show interrupts him for a moment to mention why he really dyed his hair and then Renro cuts him off because he can take it from here. So here we are about to learn about a very selfish Renro. But one thing I heavily overlooked is that this story is set in Japan. So the selfishness he is about to talk about is how his looks made others really uncomfortable and how he didn’t care that he was out of line with the social standards set in place because his blonde hair and earrings were way too important to him. Even if it meant shunning himself from relationships because at this point he had given up on it. And what I’m getting from this is that the reason why he gave up on relationship is because his choice was more important to him. He was way too self-centered to change for others until he met her. When everyone judged him and avoided him, Coro wanted to get to know him and even get closer to him. And of course, so did he. But he always feared the troubles he would bring due to his looks and their school rivalry. That’s why it was so important when he changed his appearance for her because he took so much pride in this choice to have blonde hair and wear earrings. But he cared way much more about her and why he could make that change because of her. He went from selfish to selfless to protect her because she changed his perspective his whole life. There is nothing more important in his life now than Coro. And that’s just beautiful. But of course, there’s still the issue of them being students from Chidori. So, he asked the Kiki Academy staff to place some expectations onto them to prove that they can trust him with the people the school cares about and the very same girls that the boys cherish. And the students bow their heads and plea. And I don’t know why I kind of laughed here, but this panel of the president just looks like the president, the principal looks like he’s just holding back a laugh. I’m sure that it’s just a smile of just being impressed by these boys. Because then here Toki interjects by saying that she was the one that agreed to this meeting because of Argo Sucata to meet the boys that inspired him. And well, she just got inspired too because Renro reached her to the point that she’s almost holding tears in those eyes. And look at the shock in Reno. Me too, brother. And here the chapter ends. And yeah, it was a good chapter, but I want to defend my claim at the start of the video of it being very antilimactic because we sort of already had this solution work in the past. like way back in chapter 65 when the Kiko girls caught Renro and Coro out on a date and then Renro showing up to their meeting with black hair and no earrings. We also did see the discussion between Reno and Coro about him dying his hair back to his natural hair color and how Coro didn’t want him to because she understood how important his hair was to him. So here it really feels like it’s basically holding your hands to the very same conclusion. I think I expected more as an American because I was really thrown off with the idea that Renro only ever thought about himself. But don’t think I’m trying to overlook this. Like I said earlier, I did forget that this story is set in Japan. Like brother, here in school, if someone does something really crazy with their hair or their outfit, it’s just another day. I mean, there are certain outfits where you’ll just look at the kid and you’ll just back away. Like those super rockers with their crazy hair and then those kids that wear the really long coats, I would just be very nice to them. I’ll be like, “Hey, we’re friends, right?” Like, you’ll let me know when not to come to school, right? I I’m just saying that there were so many different kids with different styles here that we just did not care. We I was friends with every type of kid, okay? But I don’t want to overlook the fact that this is still a very big deal in Japan. Okay, I can understand how hard it must have been to Renro not wanting to cause anyone else an issue, but it made him happy. So that’s why he kept the blonde hair and the earrings. And it’s amazing that he found his friends and coral people who really appreciate him no matter how he looked. But still, I really felt like it was still anticlimactic with the cliffhanger in chapter 170 and then once again hearing about why he changed his appearance for Coro. But hey, one thing that I’ve learned is to never doubt the talk no jutsu. And it was a critical hit to Toki. So, let’s see what she’s about to say in the next chapter. But I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news because we got another break next week. And I might be coping really hard, but I wonder if this break is just Saki Mikumi trying to finally cook up the incident flashback. I mean, who better to tell us about it than Toki? She seems to be the most affected by it in the current cast of characters. I don’t expect her to explain it here since the boys have already learned about it from Sucata, but we can get a cutaway to it. But I don’t want to get my hopes up. We’ve been expecting it and expecting it and we just don’t get it. But I’m just trying to make sense of the incident. It just makes more sense to reveal it now versus later because there’s no point on showing it after the issue at hand seems to be almost resolved. Unless we get a shocking twist here that Toki still won’t let the schools coingle. I doubt that, but I just want to throw it out there just in case. Everything is going way too smoothly, but you know, this is freaking flower. Everything usually tends to work itself out right. But that’s everything from me, guys. But what did you guys think? Am I out of pocket saying it was anticlimactic? Let me know down in the comments below. And as always, if you made it this far into the video, don’t forget to hit the like and buttons. Oh my god, can you hear my voice? It’s it’s going away. But yeah, that would help me out so much. And while you’re down there, why not hit the subscribe button? Like I said earlier, every new sub helps me get stronger because I am sick of this. I I don’t want to be sick anymore, guys. And I’ll catch you guys on the next one. Thanks for watching. I appreciate you. I’m going to go take a nice hot bath now.
Rintaro’s Talk-No-Jutsu Lands a CRITICAL HIT?! Ayo guys! Despite struggling the flu, we’re back for a manga review of The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity Chapter 171 is here, and Rintaro really came in with the talk-no-jutsu today. Toki was NOT ready for that critical hit. But even though the chapter had some beautiful moments, I have to be honest… it felt pretty anticlimactic after the cliffhanger in 170. In this video, we break down everything from Rintaro’s so-called “selfish past” to the deeper meaning behind him changing his appearance for Kaoruko. The chapter walks us through how Rintaro’s blond hair and earrings weren’t just a style choice—they were tied to his pride, identity, and self-worth. And yet he gave all of that up for Kaoruko, going from selfish to selfless in a way that hits a lot harder when you remember this is a Japanese setting. We also cover Toki’s emotional reaction, Tsukada’s influence, the Kikyo Academy staff meeting, and why the boys bowing their heads absolutely caught me off guard. Plus, we take a look back at Chapter 65 and how this scene mirrors Rintaro’s first major transformation. #thefragrantflowerbloomswithdignity #kaorukowaguri #rintarotsumugi Chapters: 00:00 Intro 00:28 Chapter Review Follow me on Twitter! https://twitter.com/itstheDinky Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for “fair use” for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. I hope you feel better and the chapter had me in tears, so beautiful
Be honest… did Toki tearing up catch you off guard too? Because I did NOT expect that!
@itsthedinky omg this chapter was literally everything I predicted it would be but I wasn’t expecting our Boy Rintaro to go so hard on his speech and explanation to put it had tearing up and I was so shocked by the last panel with Toki because he omg you can really tell she was about to start crying just by looking at her facial expression on after listening to Rintaro’s response!! Crap even I was about to cry like dammm!!! Rintaro my boy Kaoruko is definitely in good hands with you my guy!! Like seriously I really close to crying!!! 😢 I can’t wait for the next chapter this weeks chapter was straight peak and full of emotion from our Boy Rintaro about Himself and how truly feels about Kaoruko!
This story is one of the best and most beautiful ones I've seen/read it's very well written also amazing video man I hope you continue to grow keep going and especially never give up you're truly the BEST!
no a break next week. are you taking time off work you sound so different
4:08 I think it's just the guilt that piled up on her. The author has been showing us some panels of her regretting about what she did to kauruko. She feels that she has done such bad things to those boys. So, now shes gonna explain why shes was so desperate.
When I saw the last panel, I was so happy that the combo of Tsuka-goat and boys really is unstoppable. I think this manga really celebrates pureness and cherishes it as maybe it shows what we may lack nowadays, just innocence. My bad for yapping as if I’m in a literature class)
Ts chapter js made my ahh feel even more single, as always🤧
And Work Load Hitting Me A Critical Hit 😭
Thanks For Your Analysis ❤
(Without Dis My Mood Was Cuked)
Rintaro left me speechless. Am stunned on how a female author could write a male character like rintaro with that much depth.
Rentaro coming in with the feels. Thanks for the content. Get better my dude!!!
"In the event… that the unthinkable happens… what we teachers… could truly do for their sake… really is… close to nothing." I have a feeling… could this mean from Toki that is it about the incident? Is she talking about it and if it is true, are we finally to know what happened? Well, I already know that Tsukada sensei told them about it, but this time is different since the next chapter will be focused about Toki. I think this is where we can finally see and know what really happened from her perspective. I know that some of you won't get your hopes up, but for me, I'll look forward to see it.
I almost watched this by mistake! Let me got read this chapter!
I will say, very good words from Rintaro and I will give some praise. From what he was in the past, how he had changed since meeting Kaoruko to his plea to the principal and Toki about giving the boys a chance to prove that they can trust them. And also, they'll keep doing what they can do to ensure the girls won't have to worry about anything since they want to be with them as people they cherished. I mean, these words really impress Toki and the principal. Well, it may be anticlimactic for some people like you if you are thinking, but for me I think it is worth to read it.
About Toki, this is getting interesting for me. I mean in this chapter, instead of being mad or stay normal after hearing Rintaro, she is in this expression, which I think she is sad and even almost crying. Especially with her saying that its really close to nothing for what the teachers could do for their students' sake since the unthinkable in an event. Even Rintaro is shocked to seeing her like this after his plea/discussion, well his words had hit/inspired her. It is probably she is started to regret for what she had done to Kaoruko and Rintaro, which will be part of her discussion. I think and I already know that the next chapter will be focused on Toki. And this is where we will finally get to know more about her, including her past as well as what she is going to say in her discussion.
Fuckk need to wait another week😢
These m** f*** made my cutie toki sense cry 😡
yeah it was important cause from the teacher 's perspective they don't know anything about Rintaro , so even it it feels something is being repeated but in reality it was necessary as the Kikyo teacher dont know anything about rintaro at all
