imo the strongest point of the gacha game aside of wohoo collecting horses and seeing them run is reading theirs stories on a deeper level that for obvious reasons you cant do on a anime series. characters like TM Opera, Tamamo cross, Makitane Tanhhauser and specially Admire Vega get so much deepness and sometimes thier stories are better than the ones animated. i just hope the Global Version is launched with a translation that puts respect to the horse girls stories.
A friend of mine was playing it on Discord, i was kind of like "What the fuck is this?!" jokingly. Never would i have guessed it would pull me down a rabbit hole i still have not gotten to the bottom of. It got me into actual Horseracing for crying out loud.
The Anime was okay when i watched it, however Season 2 is when i got obsessed with it. The current anime Cindarella Grey is my favorite Story and holy i cannot wait for more episodes! One thing i wanna point out the Music. Oh my goodness the Music! I would like to recommend to anyone, go listen to some of the Songs from the game and anime.

All of the jokes and gags at the start of each section are hilarious, but by far my fav is the Drake and Josh reference with Back in (Kitasan) Black being a close second
Oh this is just the "Pretty" side…Cute, Dreams and Admiration… But there's another side of the coin.. the complete 180° of S1 to the Movie. CinGray.. it's still 2 eps but as someone who read the manga, the art and expressions goes hard.. I can already see it destroying the common sense of the "Pretty Derby" side. Currently it's slowly blowing up in Japan… Since well.. it's Oguri Cap, the most loved horse in Japan up until now… His legend will be retold in the anime.
Ya know ya got me. I feel the passion you do with this series as you do. My Uma experience was yeah I watched s1 when it aired back when it did and then nothing. Then 2021 comes around with s2 and the game. Friend comes up to me as I'm in the lounge in our uni in japan going "whats up" and sees me playing horse girls and loses their mind.
will definitely recommend this to other reactors when they're done to all of the franchise lol
The "watch Blue Lock -> get sad over the animation -> see it compared to some horse girl anime -> find out it has a game -> watch a youtube essay about it" pipeline is real.
