I think they didn't make it worse (the switch virtual game card thingy).
for example, when you buy a game digitaly and someone else (your wife, kid, girl friend) wants to play it with their account that wasn't possible.
now you can do this by sharing with them.
you can still play all your games on any of your consoles with your own account.
Derek: You have probably been playing Atelier Yumia for the last ten days or so you guys at home.

I would have, If I had it but I still didn't have my copy 😥.
Now I needed to continue playing Daybreak 2 and instead making a break like I originally planned and play Yumia.
And also use the two remaining vacation days from last year on Daybreak 2 instead. (I needed to take them until the end of march.)
So it makes more sense now to finish Daybreak 2 first.
I now reschedule Yumia to the beginning of May or the end of May where I have respectively a public holiday day and combined with another vacation days I can make myself a 4 day weekend to start the game.
So it will be long time before I start the game.😞
I think you misinterpreted the virtual game card thing. You currently need a Primary Switch tied to your Nintendo account (which isn't changing), what is changing is how you can use games on a second Switch linking it to your account. The way it currently works requires you to have an internet connection to play the game on the second Switch. With the virtual game card, you only need an internet connection the first time you load the game on the second system, after that you can play it offline. If there are other accounts on the second system, those accounts can access the game on the second Switch too. It's literally letting you use a digital game as if you had a physical game.
The other major reason they're doing this is so people who buy a Switch 2 can still use their 1st gen Switch to play Switch games on it if they want to since this feature will also work on Switch 2 and you can link both systems under your Nintendo account.
Is this new feature game changing? Not really. Is it your typical Nintendo small step forward which makes things a little easier? Yes.

I personally won't be using the Virtual Game Card System much because I love the physical cardridges more and will continue to buy them.
But I think I'm actually in the minority now because more and more People rather buy digitally, and that there now get a feature to lend the game to family Member is a great.
Generally I think how there designed the System is actually pretty great and Intuitive especially for not that tech savvy people.
But I think Nintendo presented it bad. I think the main function from it will be sharing with family members and not with your two Switches. But in the trailer the family member felt more like yeah you can do that to.
Which also made seem more complex than it is and probably confused a lot of people.
Also there personally should have pointed out more what the difference to the current system is and that you can still use the current System if you prefer that and don't want to lend the game to family members.
Short Explantation how the current System works is as far as I understand it (I only have one console), that you have one primary console with that you can play your games anyware you ant and anyone using that switch can also use your downloaded Content.
All other switches are non primary consoles. If you want to play the games here you need to have always have a Internet connection (I don't now how often there check) and other users on that Switch can'T use the downloaded content.
With the new System you can than send it to the other console and can play on both consoles offline.
And like I said for the time you can choose between the two systems as far as I heard it.
I think it a great system and the after two weeks you get your game automatically bake is great, my brother still has my PS4 Pro and my Pokemon Shield. I don't miss them but I understand the difficulty to get something back.

I refuse to play any mobile gam3 especially since this couldve easily been a normal game
58:12 That character there is Phylla-Vell or Quazar and the other character introduced is Richard Ryder Nova or Nova prime. They are iconic in the cosmic aspect for marvel. Nova, you can think of him as what the green lantern corps are for DC, he has the nova corps. Phylla is like a space knight she’s insanely powerful. She has quantum bands on her wrist and a cool quantum sword, she was just introduced in the MCU proper thanks to guardians of the galaxy vol. 3. Oh at one point she was known by as captain marvel, so yes she’s also captain marvel.

The virtual game card seems to be trying to block people from loading the same game on multiple devices. All the games have been purchased through my account and my kids both have their own switch, you could previously have them downloaded on all the devices but since they weren’t the main had to connect to the internet to play it, once it passes the check you can go into airplane mode and continue playing, then the next device can do the same thing and any number of devices could do this. So Nintendo seems to be putting a stop to that
