      スイレン様からも挨拶はしっかりした方がいい

      と言われた設定であっても、

      「新年あけましておめでとうございます🙇」

      じゃなく、
      『ハッピーニューイヤー😁』
      というセリフにされる所に、
      投稿主様のマオマオ愛を感じました🥺✨

      To the English viewers,
      Maomao is wishing Jinshi a happy new year. Jinshi is taken aback to hear Maomao so sincerely wishing him and asks her if she’s drunk. The next few moments are of them discussing their clothes and special kinds of food for the new year. (I think). Jinshi then brings up the paddle that he is holding and tells Maomao that’s it’s a traditional Japanese sport/activity, and that the paddle is called a Hagoita. Jinshi convinced Maomao to play a match with him, and that if she wins, she’ll get to drink the special wine that’s prepared. Maomao likes wine, so she gets fired up and plays the game. But she ends up losing, and feels dejected that she can’t taste the wine. Though Jinshi is happy about his own victory, he says that Maomao must be tired after the fight and invites her to eat the snacks and taste some wine, regardless. Maomao is overjoyed and praises Jinshi for being the, “Ideal Man” in a situation like this.
      (Though I only think that she praises him for letting her taste the wine, in this case because of her tone lol)

      And then Jinshi makes a comment about what an enthusiast she is/energetic girl she is.

      (My Japanese is a bit rusty, so in case I made some mistakes, feel free to correct me)

      Never watch this anime before sleeping. I had planned on only watching a single episode and ended up completing half the anime and slept at 3 in the morning.
