A concert by the prefecture’s mascot Gunma-chan was held in Maebashi City, where children enjoyed singing and dancing together. This is the first concert of “Gekidan Gunma-chan,” a children’s content that the prefecture is distributing on YouTube. The concert was held twice, in the morning and in the afternoon, and many families and Gunma-chan fans visited the venue. At the concert, a total of 12 songs were performed, including Gunma-chan’s new song “Gu~! Gu~! Gunma-chan”, nursery rhymes “Nana no Ko” and “Kira Kira Hoshi.” The children who visited the venue had fun clapping their hands to the music and dancing with Gunma-chan. The second “Gekidan Gunma-chan Concert” is scheduled for January 27th next year.
