  1. You guys are out of your mind with thinking ttk is anywhere where it should be. Death of a space man, the time involvement to get things done…having any feelingsattachment towards your character/avatar will be non-existant if you are just gone in a blink of an eye. This is not counter-strike, if you go for a lower ttk medical gameplay will be non-existant, it should take a lot to kill someone because of the impact it has. In the first two convos you should clarify if you are talking about just arena commander or star citizen the mmo, what is ironic is that when this game hits main stream Mike will be wanting the opposite since he will get one tapped day in and day out by stream snipers.

  2. Played fps in AC for the first time in years, now I recall why I don't play fps in AC. 🚽. Grenade to the face didn't drop a guy. In the end, I required a pallet cleaner session of bf4 to get over it. I'd even rather play bf2042.

    Yea, bf has medics and you have, depending on injury, about a minute to get saved.

  3. well it should depend on the distance.. i mean if you shhot a man in a heavy armor from huge distance, i can understand the argument of not being a 1shot kill outcome, but if shot from 120 feet, it should be a kill.

  4. I really like the TTK, HOWEVER; It does show how underwhelming some weapons are.

    Atm only the AR, Submachinegun and LMG are playable.

    snipers and shotguns should bu upped in damage or fire rate.

  5. TTK isn't the issue and its in a good spot. Issue it desync and problems with guns not shooting or disappearing from your hands. The railgun is just obnoxious to use in gun game because of the desync and low damage? If it can blow up a ship it should one-shot a person with a direct hit.

  6. I generally don't mind higher ttk's, but this game has too much jank to support it. Between desync and how floaty the movement + shooting feels, SC needs shorter ttk unless they can fix the networking

  7. I don't agree with instant kills. It's the reason why I will never be into normal dumb shooter games, and its the reason I used to love Overwatch. When you have an opportunity to react, that allows for fun and gameplay. If a hidden sniper just kills you instantly with one hit before you know better, then where is the gameplay? where is the opportunity to react?
    NEVER accept one hit kills, that's not gameplay its the throwing away of gameplay.

  8. I believe they should implement a concussion animation for heavy armor when they are shot in head by sniper. Where they stagger a little and have ringing in the ear.

  9. Only 10 minutes in but keep this in mind, combat is balanced for the PU first.
    Gun rush with how full the lobbys are and the map sizes are not good representations of all edges of PU combat

  10. Ttk should be based of of armor. No armor sure you're downed like cod. But heavy armor should have a longer ttk then it does now imo. Balance just needs to dictate why everone shouldnt always walk around in heavy armor.

  11. For ships. No. For people. Also no. This is a massive space sim/rpg where it takes tons of time to prepare and travel and do things. This is not cod where if you die you lose basically nothing and you're not out a bunch of time and energy. Give folks time to react, and if the fps junkies don't like it there's other games that do what you want.
