Get my free PNG designs to use for sublimation on clear HTV vinyl at https://jennifermaker.com/how-to-sublimate-clear-htv ! Learn how to sublimate clear HTV for new project options! Sublimation has become one of my favorite ways to customize T-shirts. There are so many fun ways to do it! However, sublimation has its limitations. It requires a white or light-colored surface, made from (or coated with) polyester. Typically you can only sublimate on white shirts made out of at least 65% polyester. If you sublimate onto the wrong fabric, the dye will wash right out. How annoying is that!? And if you sublimate onto dark fabric, it won’t show up, unless you try a method like bleaching for sublimation, which is super cool…but may not be the look you’re going for. luck for you, I’ve found my new favorite way to sublimate onto 100% cotton shirts, AND dark fabric, too ! 1. Thank you for this video. Yesterday I done everything as on video but image looks like with white cracks but is smooth in touch. It’s look like ink doesn’t want “stick” in this places cos left on paper if does make sense. Thank you for any suggestions and advice

  2. I used an image off Creative Fabrica that was a circle that had text and lines inside the circle. It was a .png. When I selected 'Print then Cut,' I expected it to cut around the entire circle and treat it as one piece of art like your example. Instead, it cut around all the letters and the lines/squiggles within the circle. How do I avoid/prevent this?

  3. Love all your tutorials and only wish you had ways to present these for Scan n Cut machines. This is what I have. Confusing on techniques. I’m a newbie tho. Ty ✂️💌

  4. First if all let me just say, you look great!!👍im just now starting to sublimate. I’m debating between buying the epson ET2720 and the epson ET 2800, then converting it. Do you think one is better than the other? Thanks in advance!💗

  5. If you want to sublimate a design with a non symmetrical shape are there any tips for aligning the design on top of the HTV? Thanks

  6. I love your videos and how clear the instructions are. I love your website also just can't be on there very long for all the ads and pop ups but your YouTube channel is great. Thank you!

  7. I subscribed to the channel and requested the password. I've been all over your website and I can not find the password, I do not get your emails either. PLEASE HELP.

  8. Hi Jennifer! How about sublimation on dark polyester? I have some of my husband’s work polos that need an insignia sublimated. Thanks in advance!💜💜💜

  9. How is sublimating on bl the black one different from the transfer papers for print and cut? Do these last longer? Thank you. It was a great hack 😊😊😊

  10. Thank you for this video! I recently got a Sawgrass but for some reason I find it intimidating, I can't wait to try this. You break projects down so well. Do you think this would work also work on canvas for wall decor? I tried the spray on the canvas but left brown marks. Thank you again!

  11. This a great video, thank you! Its easy with solid images that you use. But how do you print and cut PNG files with transparent background with text that is not connected to main picture and has intricate edges? I just want a basic cut of the overall image, not all the intricate edges. Hope someone can help.

  12. When you were sublimating the black shirt, why did you use the offset feature instead of duplicating the image like you did for the white shirt?

  13. Thank You I just learned a lot from your easy step by step info. I have a few cotton t-shirts that I wanted to sublimate but wasn’t sure how now I know …… It’s always a pleasure to watch you I have learned a lot.

  14. Hi! Thank you for your video. I used sublimation clear htv, when I pressed the sublimation print, it stuck to the shirt/htv clear vinyl…. What did I do wrong? I used my heat press on 385 for 20 secs then 45 sec for the sub print…..😔

  15. Hello everyone – WHY is myn sublimation images coming out looking crackled all over? I followed all the directions, now I'm wasting money. Anyone else having this issue? Trying to sublimate on color shirts. The White vinyl comes out perfect, but the Transparent HTV that goes on top of that white later, doesn't come out smooth, I can see all the patchiness in in. I tried sublimating it anyway – comes out awful and picture looks old and cracked everywhere. Help Plz!

  16. What im trying to figure out is sublimating on black or colored just seems like a lot of extra work as an opposed to just printable HTV. Am I missing something here in that assumption? Im not a big fan of white shirts so for my own personal needs doesnt really seem worth it to have a dedicated submliation printer to then have to buy an extra layer to just print and infuse onto of HTV.
