My Hero Academia is a very popular comic by Kohei Horikoshi that is being serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (published by Shueisha). The setting is a world where approximately 80% of the population has some kind of supernatural ability called “individuality”. The growth of Izuku Midoriya, a high school student who attends Yuei High School, and his classmates, aiming to become a hero who protects people and society from accidents, disasters, and criminals and enemies who exploit their “individuality” (villains).
