WeNaturalists opens a new avenue to manage your conservation and environment projects. Depending on the way you want to invite participation to your project, you can create two different types of projects. Projects open for everyone to apply and participate are displayed as opportunities. You can create Jobs, assignments, events, expeditions, training, and fundraise from two locations • From Post by selecting the option ‘New Project’ • From Projects by selecting the option ‘Add New’ Projects open to apply and participate on invitation or personal share are displayed as your projects. You can create Assignments, events, expeditions, training, storybook and fundraise from two locations • From Post by selecting the option ‘Past Project’ • From Your My Projects tab by selecting the option ‘Add Experience’ To create a project • Click the option to add project • Click the type of project that you wish to create. • In the form, you can customize the additional fields. • Fill in all the required details in the form. • You can add detailed descriptions with text and links • Accept the terms and conditions • Click Publish Your project is ready to be shared for participation. You or your participants can share the project activities. These updates are stored in your project activity for future reference. If you are working in large groups with multiple admins you can assign admin rights to your team members from project admin tab. Participants within WeNaturalists community and outside WeNaturalists can be invited to be part of your project from project participants tab. You can customize the user permissions for your projects from the project settings tab.
