This anime was known to Spanish speakers as "Las aventuras de Fly" (The Adventures of Fly).
I just found out that the original name of the main character was "Dai", we knew him as "Fly" which was so funny since we associated it to "mosca" (the insect) because of its meaning in English.
I remember the games more than the anime, but it was broadcasted very early on Sundays from 5:00 am to 6:00 am in the early 2000'.
My brother used to follow this anime, I just remember that it was very similar to the Dragon Ball characters
