I can understand Ruby being childish but her mentality seems to never grow up from birth to the current chapters (She's 16 atm and at her peak career of following her mum's footsteps) But her obsession with her own mother is beyond me. It's like she sees Ai as her idol/Oshi more than her mother. The fact that her only living relative, her twin, didn't discuss coming out as Ai's children made her hate him to the point that she cut ties with him and never question him why he would do that just makes me dislike her immaturity even more. She's going to regret everything if the news of her father came to light after Aqua's sacrifice. And if it turns out that Aqua successfully KO himself after being suicidal since Ai's death, she'd be getting a huge reality check slap at her face. She doesn't seem to care about her twin at all, only her oshi.
As a manga reader, I can say they did an amazing job with the first episode. But Just a warning to the anime fans, don't expect every episode to be like the first one. In fact, don't expect anything, because if you do, you'll be disappointed. Just watch the show for how it is, and not for how you want it to be.
Bruh like I am deliberately trying to not watch oshi no ko episode 1 so I can enjoy watching the whole season in one go when it ends but I literally am seeing oshi no ko everywhere on insta, on YouTube everywhere.

Oshi no ko manga is already 10x vetter than kaguya sama it is all time one of the best manga and thr anime will adapt thr manga full and brilliantly according to 1st episode this show will one of the greatest anime show
The music was not sad but more of that of melancholic and calm, ai's va rie delivering the final words, the animation. Like gawdamn it went harder than I thought than the manga.
"There are a lot of twists and turns in the story" Literally, no. It's as straight forward as it goes. It's an idol that dies and her fan that was reincarnated as her kid tries to find the killer. It's the usual isekai plot.
You gotta have to give credit to Doga Kobo for going all out! An 1 hour and 20 minutes long first ep is just crazy but also genius since in that way, Anime onlys would be already exposed to a certain event that might have been spoiled to them if the 1st ep was just 24 minutes long and that even happened weeks later.
Ngl after what happened to Ai I was extremely pissed. Felt like a pure shock value move. However, by the end of the episode I can see where it's going and I'm ok with it. 10/10 episode
As an anime only i have something to ask maga readers.without giving spoilers should i prepare myself for more heart breaking shit or its less painful from the first episode.
Great visuals(especially the eyes),great animation,great characters(especially Ai),great songs(especially the one that plays in you know where),great source material from an already well established author and a marketing campaign that baited us all. Yeah,no wonder it blew up this hard,all stars aligned for it to pop off(even tho one of them dimmed out and disappeared…)
The crazy thing is that this is done in the love is war universe, which is done by the same author Aka Akasaka and drawn by Mengo Yokoyari. Even crazier is Aka it's going to do another manga series at the same time called Love Agency which he writing. Very few can do two series at once, but Aka is the exception.
Many ppl also got interested beacuse Yoasobi sang for the opening and already release the MV showing Ai, Aqua and Ruby Also the last lyric of the song really hits u to the heart if u already watched eps 1 or readed the manga
After i read all of the manga, i gotta say i feel empty inside. I think its because i skipped quite alot of the story(fast scrolling through the manga) so i guess i will just wait til the all of the eps of the anime is out
