The vocal part on into the night is one of my favourite parts in the whole soundtrack. It's a shame it wasn't ever featured in the show
Whatever the stringed instrument in YouSeePower is, it reminds me of Eren. I haven’t read the manga, nor have I seen the end of AOT, but that sporadic, and intense way of playing makes me think of what Eren is trying to do, or what he’s doing in the midst of all that’s going on around him, and what’s against him.

「二千年前の君から」 is the perfect expression of humanity's rise out of darkness into greatness and splendor. The transition from simple tones and drums to full instrumental and choir to a slow march with an industrial vibe and finally to computer-like tones is amazing.
The balance, too. The first section takes over half the song, but then the transitions come forcefully in quick succession, the same way that industrialization accelerated progress. It's all of human history and religion captured in one 7 minute piece.
Yamamoto Kouta is a genius.

THAW for me is the saddest OST of this season by far… Eren revisiting his old self from the first episode and confronting his dad the moment before he goes to murder the Reiss family and their whole bloodline… For Grisha and his reluctance to doing it to Eren and how his old happier self is just a lost memory now to him
