Yui was literally raped day in and day out by the women in the village. There's a point in the episode, where Yui says that if Akira became corrupted, they would be one again, and Yui reaches his hand out to Akira, but then for a moment it shows a shrivelled old hand. That was the village's previous chief, Yui and Akira's father's hand, who had gone insane from being raped so many times, and is now locked up in a room by the women. Yui mentioned this in episode 10. This series doesn't hesitate to be dark AF
