  1. 7:56 "i don't think we need to, he tricked them, the doctor tricked them, they're never gonna move again" *proceeds to stand in their line of sight*

  2. Bro this is my first time getting into doctor who stuff and… From what I can barely grasp is that the angel are monsters that act based off of the concept of information, like the Schrodinger's cat paradox??

  3. Now that I think about it, could you like, look at them with one eye, close the other one meanwhile, then when u get tired open both of them, and get the tired one to rest ? Repeat the process indefinitely and u got ur plot armor ready !

  4. just blink 1 eye at time and have 2 people look into each other's direction to cover blindspots… imagine dying due to lack of intelligence, that would just be natural selection

  5. If I had ONE superpower, it would be Heaven's Time by Aphrodi from Inazuma Eleven, where one second on Earth is one full day in heaven. Basically time stop if you ask me.
Edit: Actually it's one FULL year.

  6. Ive had a fear of angel statues and a fever dream memory of a small bit of this. I finally have an answer after all these years.. im still terrified of them but at least i know why now πŸ˜‚

  7. when they first introduced the weeping angels they were really scary but it sucks in the other episodes they made them talk and laugh which doesn’t make it scary

  8. "But then you turn your head away. Then you blink. And oh yes, it can". I get literal chills, even all these years later, everytime I watch this scene.
The simplicity of the whole episode and the concept of the Weeping Angels themselves, really is writing at it's absolute finest.
The Weeping Angels didn't need a back story, or being overused, or adding on anything else like them killing people. All they needed was knowing very little about them and the simple premise – don't blink, or will they will get you.

One of the best episodes, not just of Doctor Who, but of television itself, ever written. I just hope the new Doctor Who can go back to this.
