      The Lore of Dead Apostles was heavily explore in "Tsukihime" timeline that's the story that introduced this type of beings within the verse
      In Nasuverse there's two types of Vampires are "True Ancestors" and "Dead Apostles"

      TRUE ANCESTORS: which is called "original vampires" they're incarnated Nature Spirits and the planet's ultimate defense system. think of them like a fairies essentially born from the planets creation they're basically "Agent of Gaia/Planet" they're design to act as planet's sense of touch .

      0:48 do you bother listening to sections of the episode that we don’t see in these reactions. Why would someone who “swears to King Arthur” be King Arthur?

      The fact that this saber was able to recognize an assassin from the Hassan order should be more then enough an indicator that this servant was born hundreds of years after the Arthurian legends.
