I can't believe that you didn't add the parts where she is childish due to the merging of her mind and part of the spider's (can't remember name currently) like calling herself a magical girl. This is more a compilation of her being serious and intimidating.

i think on season 2, we'll be getting an insane and annoying amount of story from the hero's older brother Julius. LN has a whole volume for a dead character.
When you think demon lord. You don't really think the good guy's, I was really expecting The Spider and The Hero to meet up and join force's. Not Ariel and The Spider to meet up and fight The Hero and The Elven. Especially when it turns out he made of gears and oil, mind shocker. This isn't your every season In Another World Story, it's something to behold, not for a moment did I feel like "I've seen this before in another anime or story" I mean I did in the game mechanics but there's only so much you can do with video game power's you know what I mean.

The novel made me love her, is impossible not to love her. Is strong but also is a kind person to his friends. And according to Shiro she is like a grandma and when you know her true motive to be a demon lord as lector we are like "yeah, do it, I don't mind the means, if that makes you happy I am with it"

Hope that (if we get one) in season 2 that they delve more into Ariel's backstory. Like how she keeps falling for the "hero" and the true story behind her and that elf leader. Also why he's soo determined to keep war machines when he knows what happened last time such mech's was used/made.
