It is really funny that there are two characters named Dorothea who participated in a grail war and summoned assassin and they are not the same person.

Some little details to clarify:

1) Richard mentioned before how he can contractually connect himself to people that he knew in life. That's who he was talking to in the beginning of the season, when he looked like he was just talking to himself. This same technique is what he used to get the sword.

2) In the original story, when Flat was shot in the stomach, Jack attempted to transform to protect him, but Flat already knew that there were multiple snipers, so it was ultimately useless.

3) Lord El Melloi (Waver) had a lookout posted outside of his office ever since Flat was confirmed to be a participant in the HGW. This was to prevent Waver from going to Snowfield, since Lords are forbidden from being part of HGWs ever since the death of the previous El Melloi. The lookout in question was none other than Goredolf Musik, the mage who would later go on to become the director of Chaldea in Fate/Grand Order.

Poor Flat Got the classic American way of of handling things.

Think of it this way, Dead Apostles are the Demigods of vampires, to the point where their upper ranks can defeat servants with (relative) ease.
Jester is a low ranked vampire (and caused this much trouble for the other participants in this grail war, as well as the entire police force wielding Noble Phantasms)
Then there's also the True Ancestors who are even a step higher.

As for the “accomplishment” he mentioned after Flat got shot… well, for now let’s just say that in the world of mages, spells which activate after death aren’t unheard of.

This was such an amazing finale, and I can't wait to see y'all's reactions when season 2 comes out (I just hope they don't cut as much next time.) But until then, I'll send my final essay just to answer any of the small questions you had (without spoiling, ofc.)

Dead Apostles/Jester: Jester's real name is Dorothea, a female Mage. She was turned into a Dead Apostle by Van Fem and used her revolver magecraft to change bodies constantly, knowing that something's true nature/Name is not restricted to a Servant's, upon Hansa saying Jester's real name, they were able to hurt him a lot more easily. Also, Dorothea, as a human, was compared to another Mage that shows up in another Fate work; this might explain Jester's grandiose nature, as he is trying to compensate for being looked down on as a human.

Van Fem: He is a Dead Apostle Ancestor from the age of Gods that basically disowned Jester. Dead Apostle stand at oposition to Humanity, as a Dead Apostle Ancestor Van Fem stands at the pinnacle to represent what that means. This is why he forsakes Jester because he wants to love a Heroic spirit, the pinnacle of Humanity, while also hating everything humans stand for (He's calling Jester out for being a hypocrite; if you're going to love a Heroic spirit, then do it, don't do it after denying everything Humans stand for.). Van Fem is friends with Flat due to Flat being a part of an experiment made by his ancestor, with whom Van Fem was friends, and Van Fem runs a casino, which multiple characters have visited. Dead Apostles/Dead Apostle Ancestors are from another type of moon IP called Tsukihime, without me sending another essay, Dead Apostle Ancestors basically could solo JJK, My Hero, One Punch Man, and DB on a casual Tuesday afternoon (I used those verses as benchmarks just so you can get an idea on why Van Fem is so important/Jester took it so hard.)

Richard: He has a noble phantasm called "Rounds of Lionheart." He can call upon shadow Servants of people he has close ties with and ask them for help (this is where he gets the ability to jump across the air and summon lights as well)

Tsubaki: She did, in fact, off herself. She is now forever stuck in her own dream world/reality marble, along with Pale Rider, so she can't hurt anyone again. Her parents are the definition of terrible, but they are by no means the worst out of the Fate family in lore (really goes to show you how fucked up Mage society truly is.)

Tldr of the vampire plot, the Vampire dad, who turned dude into a vampire, said "Bro fuck you, I hate you, I dont see you as my cool son anymore" And it broke the dude's heart
