Yes, the direction in the action scenes was poor, both in pacing and in the choice of OST it's almost a waste of good animation. Furthermore, the characters hands looked awful.
But aside from that and a few scenes where the animation turned to mush, it was good, especially the storyboard.

Had one good animated fight and already calling it better than jjk 😂😂, good animation in jjk isnt just fights but conversations too, the cinematic shots and ambitious animation of Jjk can't be topped, not to mention we will get 24 eps we are not even half way and already breaking so many animation standards.
