The three beautiful sisters Hitomi, Rui, and Ai, who own Cafe Cat’s Eye, coolly run through the night as the phantom thief Cat’s Eye, and the story depicts brilliant action and a thrilling love affair with a detective, making it extremely popular not only in Japan but also in Asia, Europe, and America. This legendary work continues to be loved by many fans and is still being used in various media around the world, including an original art exhibition being held in 2022, which marks its 40th anniversary. Furthermore, in addition to “CAT’S EYE” sung by Ado, the new opening theme “MAGIC” written specifically for this work was written, composed and arranged by Vocaloid P’s Tsumiki, who is collaborating with Ado for the first time. Tsumiki is an up-and-coming artist who has major works such as the hit songs “Fonyi” and “Tokyo Shandy Rendezvous,” and is also well-regarded for his work with the music unit NOMELON NOLEMON and the band Aooo. The song’s catchy yet tacky lyrics and melody are freely expressed by Ado’s ever-changing vocals.
