What is up, guys? Back in today with another reaction to um the almost butchered the name again. Uh April showers bring May flowers. Uh this time of episode 12, which we’ve still got one episode left next week, which is good news. But um honestly wasn’t a massive fan of last week’s episode. Um I didn’t to be honest with you, I didn’t hear anyone else have any issues with it, but on a personal level, I really struggled just kind of deciphering what exactly happened. Uh turns out, thank you for all the comments explaining things by the way. Turns out everything happened. Um, I thought there was like some dream sequences or some like what ifs or some like um, yeah, apparently it was just the case that the kind of play and the festival did span over the course of a few days, which I don’t think it did represent the best. There was a few kind of um, iffy moments in that regard. It didn’t, again, in my personal opinion, didn’t do a great kind of job at kind of showing us when exactly things were happening and what exactly was kind of going down on what day um, and so on. But like I said, I don’t think anyone else complained about that. So maybe that’s just a me thing, but um yeah, really struggled with the kind of structure of the last episode. So hopefully this one can be a bit better. But um let me know what you guys think about this episode in the comments. I’ve been really the last few days, but my throat is a little bit tickly still, so you might have to bear with me a little bit. I got like a hair ball or something in my throat. Just like a little something annoying me. This is the same dude from her middle school. And same dude that we same dude we uh the same where the nice geyser. Uh yeah, this is also the same dude that we saw at the fireworks, right? who had a misconception of dating her which he seemed to be quite embarrassed about in the past but now he seems that he’s he’s now that somebody else has gained interest in her. I think it’s that desirable thing. Same thing happens with like fashion. Certain things come into kind of popularity and into season and into people’s minds of like yes, I want to wear that. I want to I think this is something similar where when you see in this case Tabata wanted by somebody else, it sparks that like you know what because she’s wanted by him, I want it now as well. That kind of desirable thing, isn’t it? Like I said, I feel that’s a very good example with fashion. You see that a lot in fashion. Things just go into fashion for like a year and then you might never see them again. Um, a really stupid one I remember was you guys probably would have heard of this one, but uh reversed hoodies where the hood was actually in the front. It was so I never had one, but some of my friends did. It was so stupid. Um, and yeah, that is essentially as I just said, it was a hoodie, but the hood was the other way around, so it was pretty useless. And that was a thing for like a few months. Another one was this specific brand of polo shirt that they used to sell at a shop um near the city I live in. And uh, everybody had one and they were quite nice actually. But then um like a year later, you’d never see it ever again. You’d never see that specific design of polo shirt worn by anyone ever again. Climps were one. Climps were really popular in my high school the first year I was there and then you never saw anyone wear them again. Not sure why that was such a thing, but this is like this feels kind of similar. Maybe he’s realized what he kind of took for granted back then. Or maybe he just like maybe it’s not exactly as I’m describing right here, but kind of feels that way. And you could definitely understand if Taba felt that way towards it as well. I won’t go this far, but he seems to be a little bit possessive, a little bit jealous, a little bit wanted to protect her from other men. Oh, bless Oh dear. And he’s position yourself in such a terrible position. All you got to do is look to your right and you you just see them stalking you. So there is evil. We had one of these with tabs, didn’t we? But I think there wasn’t any evil. Sure. This breaks some kind of copyright laws, right? Again, I I always say this, but I always do find it slightly barbaric just how much of a stick the Japanese animation studios are for copyright laws, especially being a YouTuber. Um, and then they go ahead and use all this kind of stuff. I I always do find it quite incredible. Luckily, I haven’t had any problems with those lately, and I shouldn’t because um every other problem I’ve had in the past, I have managed to get sorted out because I abide by my country’s copyright laws, even if I’m watching Japanese material, which is ironic because if if these people were to abide by their own laws, they wouldn’t be able to do that right there. So they abide by other countries copyright laws other than their own. So actually they’re in the wrong. It’s amazing how you can spin logic like that, isn’t it? Sorry to go on a bit of a rant now. Okay. So I did assume that we’d see these two have a little bit of time together. Oh dear. Of course you’d say that. I mean the first mistake was asking was telling her about anything like this. I mean, I know it’s a disguise, but she got all dressed up. We put a lot of work into her disguise right here. We’re going to waste it, are we? And I always say as nice as it is to see her be herself, she still isn’t a very nice person, is she? Could do with proven herself a little bit. She’s always like when she is her true self, she’s always pissed off. She’s always got this condescending per se, but in a similar nature kind of how she sounds. This guy’s got the absolute short end of the stick of the show, hasn’t he? That’s This guy’s got nothing going on. Fortunately, did that join him? I know that’s such a cliche, but that is like true. To be honest with you guys, I’ve never I was I was a completely different person back in high school and such, but I I never really worried too much about this. Honestly, I um I wasn’t that type of person to do. If I was to nowadays, I would worry about it. But um whenever I did make friends with girls, it was it was the case of I never really worried too much in mo pretty much I would say all cases, but most cases when I did make friends with girls, it was because I did fancy them. It was because I did like them. Uh in in a more than friends and I didn’t really have too many issues with kind of letting them know that to be honest with you. Um I’d say in most cases it didn’t really work out too well, but um yeah, I didn’t really have any problems with it. But I Again, going through that, I can understand. I mean, from my perspective of him, he’s never done this, so I don’t know why he’d think like that. He’s just a awfully caring person anyway. But again, having done that, it it does kind of change your relationship. You aren’t as close afterwards. It does kind of doesn’t make things awkward, per se, but it does kind of change the dynamics and it it it can kind of ruin your friendship. But there was cases where it very much didn’t. Some of times it actually made me closer as friends with the with the person. Sometimes it just completely ended our friendship uh from my end and from their end. Um both equally kind of. Yeah. So totally get the worry here. I guess it’s a very cliche thing. People people are probably quick to say like is that is that realistic? That’s such a anime cliche. Um no makes total sense. What if you do pursue too quickly? Maybe that’s the thing. Maybe if I did wait a bit, it would have been more successful. But there was one specific case where I was good friends with this girl for years, like really good friends, and I did like her. Um, and then it all just and when I and then when I did, I didn’t really confess per se, but um that kind of friendship just like fully ended. It was quite I was really surprised actually just like the fact that we did we weren’t really friends afterwards. It was kind of like oh really well um it’s kind of [ __ ] up. Maybe it was [ __ ] up from her end that I uh yeah that have been noticed. I’ve uh I pooed myself. Game Station that I mean that that was we where I live we had a game shop called Game Station. I think I’m not sure if it went out of business, but um it was taken down when I was a kid as well, but I remember specifically because uh because u I waited a midnight release for the DS, a game station. I traded in uh the DSi that is I can’t remember what I traded in. Was it the DSi? I can’t I traded in a Game Boy Advance or a DS I believe and it got like a certain specific amount. Sorry guys, I was just yapping there. So, we’ll go back. But, um yeah, that’s a very vivid memory in my mind. Um I think it was a DSI. I didn’t have the initial DS, so I definitely didn’t trade in. Maybe it was like G. I can’t remember, but there was a specific deal where we traded off something for like a good amount of value. You guys know if you guys ever went to like game shops, the [ __ ] trading value is always absolutely disgraceful. They always sell it for like 10 times the amount they trade in for. Um, yeah, there was a good like trade on offer uh for a DSI. Um, and I remember getting home afterwards. I think I was like second or third in line. Uh, then I got home, was meant to go to bed, but had the DS under. It wasn’t the greatest game I had for it, I think it was the, if you guys have seen that meme recently with that jelly kind of blue alien with the with the jelly and he’s like putting it in front of your face. It was um I never watched that movie, but that I I had the game on DS of that movie and it was all right. Monsters versus Aliens perhaps it’s called. I can’t specifically remember, but um yeah, they kind of popped back up in my thinking recently because uh as I just said, there’s been loads of memes made of it recently. Yeah, I remember playing that at midnight uh after I got home pretending to be asleep. Old times, man. Rest in peace, GameStation. That was always my preferred game store. I do wonder why it went out of business. Yeah, I was going to say there’s some dodgy looking peoples looking at them. He’s a pretty big guy, Brock, isn’t he? Pretty uh pretty intimidating figure. So yeah, seems pretty persona very persona coded. We’ll get those stats into the beef bowls. He’s the total opposite of me. She does get the special treatment. And I know these two thing, but again, if this was me, I mean, I would still like I’d still like feel a bit dodgy that this girl is like crying over another guy in front of me, if you know what I’m saying. I wouldn’t like totally ruin anything any possibility of me having a relationship with her, but it certainly would be like I could think of myself now thinking in the future just thinking back to this moment about crying about another guy. I mean, It’s not inevitable that your wife or someone has probably cried over another guy or someone in their life, but I don’t know, something a bit different about this. I had a pretty good time. That’s exactly what we were thinking. Yeah. Have you got any idea how you guys looked? That was That was my first assumption. Didn’t we already go to a karaoke? I think we did, right? Maybe I’m misremembering. I don’t know. Almost every romance anime has gone to a karaoke at some point. I feel like we did though. Maybe I’m tripping. We’re definitely done with this car. Joyson. What kind of fan service you asking for here? He’s not actually that great, is he? Usually with these voice actors, they like they struggle to not be great because they’re they’re usually quite talented in singing as well as voice acting. But he he if he was acting to not playing good right there, he’s done an awesome job. If that was just him singing normally, then pretty fit. Pretty thick. Good save. Good save. Was that Tabata about to pick up the boat? Oh, maybe maybe that’s his maybe that’s his love interest, the Guaru. I can see them being a pretty good match actually. I didn’t really think about that till now. There’s a lot of randos here, isn’t there? that the second or third time this has They I like I think I said this before when we did see this. I never been on that end of it. I never been on the end of saying I like someone else. I’ve I’ve been on the other end many a time. That feels great. Take it a big old plop. the first time I’ve heard her say that. Evidently, not out loud, but I think that might have been the first time she truly admitted that to herself. They’re just so cute, man. How How You can’t keep getting away with this. Can’t keep ending every episode off like this. And they And they do keep getting away with it because I do end up loving it. Oh crap. He said it. Oh crap. He said it as well. Oh damn. Again, like I said, they they keep doing this. They keep waiting to the last [ __ ] two minutes to give us more of Tabeta and going even further this time. Like Jesus. Um, didn’t expect that this episode to be honest with you. He actually said it out loud. I was thinking when she said that that was a big enough moment that she kind of proved it to herself. Um I said proved it. Um realized it herself. I guess he actually said it out loud. Bloody hell. Her eyes are in that moment there as well. Bloody hell. compromised right here. That was a lovely little moment, wasn’t it? That’s a little moment, but quite a ginormous moment, actually. Really? I guess give her a little bit of time to breathe. I guess kind of feels like you’re [ __ ] blocking a little bit, but honestly, I was kind of thinking about last episode. Is this going to be a dream sequence? I’m not taking anything as dream sequences anymore. But yeah, big moment right at the end there. Big moment. And again, quite surprising. Like I mean, I didn’t really expect this to happen this season in general. If it was to, I would have expected it to maybe happen next week in the final episode. So, um, yeah, this really sets us up for a very interesting finale, doesn’t it? I’m really not too wellversed in the source. I’m not versed in any way on the source material, but um I do just want to quickly look up just how long this series is and if it’s like completed, if this will be like a full adaptation or if this will be just like a season one. Uh it is still ongoing, I think. And there’s a sign in really. I would have shojo or even shownen signing. It’s interesting. Why is this Why is this down as a sign in? Uh yeah, there’s at least 62 chapters it looks like. So there is plenty more. So, um, yeah, really interesting that they’ve actually admitted this so early. Not usually the case. I’m going to assume just in the way like the episodes are scheduled. I think it’s very clear that almost every episode is like two chapters. I think it’s very clear in the middle portion there is like a very like there’s I think we’ve had episodes where there’ve just been like two totally different halves. So, um, again, I think it is pretty clear. Might even be quicker than two, but I think it’s two chapters per episode. So, they’ve covered like they’ll be covering like 24 u by the end of the season. So, still more than more than double that left of the series. So, hopefully we get a season two. But, um, we still do have one episode next week. Uh, we’ll be 13 episodes actually. So, 26 uh 26 chapters. But, yeah, thank you guys for watching. Good episode today. Um, nice little date with um, Brock and Ugo Sudani. Honestly, I really like their little segment in the uh, the middle portion here. I thought it was pretty cool. Um, again, bit of the your classic kind of melodramatic uh, mixup situation I’ve seen a few times now. Um, but I think it’s getting a bit egregious cuz it’s not just this show. It’s Fragrant Flower Blossoms with Dignity is also doing that a hell of a lot in that show. So, there’s just a lot of that going on right now with the romance anime this season. Um, not that there’s all too many romance anime I’m watching this season. Next season, I’m watching quite a lot. So, um, yeah, going to going to have to look out for that one. But, yeah, I like this uh like this little portion here. I really like the end of this episode. Um, surprising that it all kind of came out like this so quickly. Like, I thought it would it would have been enough. It would have been a big enough moment just kind of realizing it herself, but now like him saying out loud like that, like wow.
