City The Animation Has Been Really Great

If you’ve not been watching City the Animation, you need to do yourself a favor and go watch it right now because to me, it’s been the best anime of the summer season. Kyoto Animation has been in their bag when it comes to adapting this series. And you should already know they know what they’re doing because they literally adapted the other series that’s from the creator, which is My Ordinary Life. And those series literally have the same exact vibes. But they’ve really been in their bag with this one because each episode of City has been better and better. One of my favorite episodes is like episode five, which is the tower one, and like that’s when Nagamo gets kidnapped and that’s when you have so much crazy stuff happening cuz there’s one point in that episode where you get to see different perspectives from all these different people and it’s all on the screen. Yes, it’s a whole bunch of stuff happening, but like it was crazy. Now, the one thing I’ve really been enjoying about this anime is the different cast of characters cuz there’s a lot of interesting characters in here. Nagamo is one of the ones that stands out cuz of course we see her a lot. WaKo’s always funny cuz you never know what she’s going to do because like she always does some of the most random stuff. Then you have like those one two girls that are best friends, but one of the best friends I think is the bluehead girl. Like she’s moving to England. There’s one episode where like they’re still having their playful banter, but like the one girl, she’s trying to hide the fact that she’s super sad and like that was very sad. And the episode that came out today really did highlight why this has been one of the best anime from this season. And the episode that was dropped today was like a city race and like they went crazy. Like when I tell you just like all the different shenanigans that was happening. We got to see like the whole cast there. like the cast that we see like of course the important characters. We got to see like all the different shenanigans they got into like when it came to this race because this race was so goddamn ridiculous.
