In Race 2, where the driver who attacked in Qualifying 2 was in charge of the start, Kawabata grabbed the steering wheel and, after the rolling start, he temporarily left the course at the Coca-Cola corner, but he kept his third position as per the grid. However, on the second lap, an accident occurred in which the GT4 vehicle crashed violently at the TGR corner, causing the red flag to be suspended following Race 1. After over 30 minutes of rescue and removal, the restart was led by the safety car. #296 Ferrari 296 GT3 was required to have an additional 10 seconds of pit stop due to the results of Race 1, but Kawabata continued pushing to earn that 10 seconds. However, Sasahara Ukyo from the #9 BINGO RACING with LM corsa Ferrari 296 GT3 and Kay Cozzolino from the #45 PONOS RACING Ferrari 296 GT3 were at a good pace, and they were unable to close the gap as they wanted. Kawabata pitted after completing 15 laps and was replaced by Tsuzuki. With an additional 10-second stop time, the #296 Ferrari 296 GT3 was fifth in the #296 Ferrari 296 GT3, but the set up he has advanced during the race week so far has significantly improved the performance of the #296 Ferrari 296 GT3, and Maezawa Yusaku of the #555 MAEZAWA RACING Ferrari 296 GT3 and Uchida Yudai of the #24 Max Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo. The #9 BINGO RACING with LM corsa Ferrari 296 GT3 player Takei Shinji received a stop-and-go penalty, and the #296 Ferrari 296 GT3 rose to second place. At the end of the race, the gap between Tsuzuki and the leading #45 PONOS RACING Ferrari 296 GT3 continued to be huge, but as the final lap approached, the #45 PONOS RACING Ferrari 296 GT3, which had not been able to run in Race 1, began to struggle with the pace. Tsuzuki showed himself increasing his pace when he caught the #45 PONOS RACING Ferrari 296 GT3 in his vision. On the final lap, Tsuzuki narrowed the gap between Tsujiko Yoridan from the #45 PONOS RACING Ferrari 296 GT3, and took advantage of the chance that the #45 PONOS RACING Ferrari 296 GT3 was stuck in a lap down in the Coca-Cola corner and overtaked the team in the Advan Corner. He rose to the top on the final lap and was then taken to the checkered flag. Hitotsuyama with CORNES RACING will be the fourth round and will be his first victory in the series. Furthermore, with this victory, Hitotsuyama with CORNES RACING increased his points to 73, leading the rankings. The setup has progressed, and expectations have been raised for the second half of the season. We will continue to aim for the next race in Okayama, so we look forward to your continued support. #HitotsuyamaWithCornesRacing #Ferrari296GT3 #Ferrari296GT3 #JapanCup2025 #FujiSpeedway #FujiSpeedway #CORNESRACING #Tsuzuki Akihiro #Kawabata Shintaro
