    1. A servant is always just one interpretation of a character. Some heroic spirits are melting pots of different legends or interpretations or have made a name for themselves for multiple different achievements thoughout their lives. You can summon a person in their youth as a lancer when they were a mighty warrior, but you could also summon them as a elderly assassin based on their later self that was a master of martial arts. You can summon a person as their historical emperor self that united a grand empire or also as their romanticized adventurer self that was said to have gone on journeys involving fantastical creatures and magical items. You could summon a person as the national hero they were seen as by their home country or as the cruel demon that their enemies saw them as. And yet another heroic spirit might be summoned despite being entirely fioctional to begin with. But as long as it's a significant part of human history, even an abstract unliving thing can turn into a heroic spirit.

    2. 24:02 Jack the Ripper is one of the few exceptions due to the fact that for the longest time Jack the Ripper was a serial killer who was never identified. So the two jacks we know of the assassin and the berserker represent different aspects of Jack the rippers legacy. The assassin represents the victims being a collection of spirits of aborted children looking for their “mother” while the berserker represents the mystery being an entity with no solid form and instead can take on any form.

If you are curious another servant with similar circumstances is Robin Hood as well as the Hassan’s. The later is an organization so while you can summon one you have a chance to summon any of the numerous heads of the order perhaps with the exception of the founder unless you were REALLY LUCKY. While for the formers case since numerous men and women likely took up the name Robin Hood across history summoning for Robin Hood can lead you to summoning any of the incarnations of Robin Hood though in fates case we only know of one maybe two.

    3. In Apocrypha, jack the ripper there is the "legend" of him killing pregnant women(escorts) and in apocrypha its the unborn children that are Jack, here is the murderer himself represented. I think thats how it is.

    4. Since jack the ripper was never found, they can be summoned as different servants. The one in Apocrypha is one specific 'suspect' while the one in SF is more like the legend itself of Jack the ripper, kinda like an abstract being.

    5. If you do have a gaming channel don’t play FGO! Don’t get me wrong the story is constantly good for the part but the gatcha mechanics ASS!! You should instead play other Type-Moon works instead like Fate /Samurai Remnant or the upcoming Fate/Extra Record. Or even some Visual novel like Tsukihime Remake then Melty blood!

    6. They just screened episode 2 at FGO fest this weekend. And then said episode 3 will come out… eventually and they stopped saying the series would officially come out in 2025 lol

    7. The fake holy grail war classes No Spoiler.

      Fake Archer: Gilgamesh

      Fake Lancer: Enkidu

Fake Caster: unknown yet. But it’s an author.

Fake Assassin: No Name: likely one of the 19 Hassan

      Fake berserker: Jack the Ripper

The shadow: Class unknown but likely to be the False Rider.

Then there’s the True Saber: identity unknown yet.

    8. Recommend Otakudaikun's Lessons in Mage Craft series. Each youtube vid is a lesson in all things and concepts in the nausuverse which fate is apart of.

    9. I would have recommended The Case Files of Lord El-Melloi II which is set in between Fate zero and stay night but before Strange Fake (you get some references here)
