One day, I went to a dollar store and looked at a little rubber bug toy. It reminded me of old monsters movies like Godzilla, Gamera, etc. It was in that moment I vowed to make a classic cheese monster movie, and in the time span of three or so weeks, I did just that. True story btw lol #SUNPHRAvsHALSANDER

Okay, why does Sunphra jave have a better sleep schedule than me?
Also what do you mean by "true story btw", what does that mean? What do you mean by that? Tell me ML, WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT
HOLY MAGIC BUTTERFLIES THIS FILM IS WICKED!!!
The production quality is everything to expect and love about classic cheesy monster movies: the special effects like the explosions, flying and mixing stop-motion and regular filmed action sequences. Like you're playing with two monster figures :3
Your direction was pretty awesome too! The background footage was perfectly used – loved the sunset used as a transition and the ending shot – and the way you set up both rounds of Halsander and Sunphra's battle. All visually and no dialogue (besides monster noises, lol) which impressed me too!
+The puppets look wonderfully rough and ready and also fit the movie very well >:3
++That booming soundtrack throughout was EPIC 🔥⚡️🔥⚡️
An absolutely fun watch, ML!!! You did such a great job making this and I'm all for any follow ups you do with this same intentional classic monster cheese! 😀
THAT'S, ABSOLUTELY, INCREDIBLE! Animation, effects, sound, everything perfect. Its like you watch a real old film. I, i just dont know what to say. I only can say you good luck in future.
I just watched the live How To Train Your Dragon just a few minutes ago, and this film here you made just makes my day better.😊
This is, I think, technically the first monster movie I’ve ever watched.
And it was GREAT!
2D animation, 3D animation, stop motion, even mixing them, you’re super talented! Awesome work.
