一世にあたる原作や実写のメフィストは全く忠誠を誓ってなくて､やる気の無いかついい加減な部分があるから､なんだかんだ父親譲りっちゃ父親譲りなのよね

その大トリは【メフィスト２世】（以下、２世）
初登場はこうもり猫に騙されて、「悪魔界を支配しようとしている」と思い込んでしまう辺り、意外とのせられやすいというか騙されやすいンでしょうね
とはいえ、あの大悪魔【メフィスト（以下、メフィスト老）】の息子。父に負けず劣らず、さまざまな魔力を使っては悪魔くんや仲間を助けてくれる。
悪魔くんに登場する悪魔くんの仲間の悪魔（以下、白悪魔）は【ソロモンの笛】、メフィスト老は【古式ソロモンの笛】が苦手。
また、２世はラーメンが好きという読者（視聴者）にもっとも近い身近な白悪魔として描かれた。
主に使われる魔力は【ステッキから電撃】【シルクハットノコギリ】【ツノ電撃】。
原作では幽子は悪魔くんに好感を持っているが、アニメでは２世に好感を持っており、２世に好感を持つ悪魔くんの妹とは２世を巡るライバル的な関係（そうだったかは良く覚えてない）

昔のドラマCDに「情報屋が見えない学校で悪魔について勉強する」というものがありました。その中で「悪魔はニンニクが苦手」とファウスト先生が説明し、それについて2世が「おれはニンニクのきいたラーメンが大好きだ。」と不思議がっていたシーンがあったように記憶しています。
待ってました十二使徒の中でも最強にして相棒の二世さん。
何だか、お三人の声が変な気がする。
私の時代は特撮の方の悪魔くん世代であってメフィストは前半は兄が活躍して後半は弟が活躍してましたよ。

東嶽大帝討伐後に初代と契約し直した時に悪魔くんが２世達は
どうしてるか訪ねた時に、魔界で勉強している、子供らはその方が
良いですがって初代が答えたシーンが凄い好きです😅
