Yeah, the detailed parts of the ending are the direct work of the manga artist, Nozawa. She does beautiful work!
Yeah, Kurumi is in 9th grade and Rentarou, Hakari, Karane, Shizuka, and Nano are in 10th; Kusuri's in 12th. (Really, we won't soon get an age gap larger than the one between Rentarou and Hahari, so, um. Maybe that doesn't make it better?)
