The fact that Xeno was 20 and was already working at nasa is insane to me.
If you wonder what the helium 3 project is, just look where the largest amount is in "international ", free for mining territory…. Dr Xeno was thinking about the future, but no one at NASA listened to him.
The brain's sense of time works differently without reference points. There would come a time when there would be gaps in time and it wouldn't seem like 3700 years, which makes Senku's feat even greater because he counted all the seconds
I love how this episode helped tie some things together – especially for Senku. We saw how he was on top of the swallows (there was another flashback showing this in season 1) , and now we know what he was doing in the lab when Taiju arrived! It's also interesting that the CDC was already on this and took a step closer to Senku's initial hypothesis of this being a form of stasis and how to stay awake. A few more days and maybe people could have been revived much sooner.
As for that ring – from what I hear, it's the material the ring is made of that comes into play later.
It seems we'll meet up with more of those other attendees later on – they must be working the farm. Since most are military, it's easy to see why they deferred to Xeno and followed him and his orders.
When you are de-petrified the effect is the opposite, you feel very good. As Chrome demonstrated in season 3. You still feel the emotions, like the desperate student in season 1 episode 1 after being petrified, you would need a strong willpower
