This episode was amazing! It shows one to not mess with Rentarou's girlfriends! Especially Shizuka (And girlfriend 22). Also, Hahari did the antagonist face from season 2!!!
The flashback…yeah, it may have been partially that other girl's fault, but that doesn't remove the trauma a batter would feel knowing it was their homerun that caused it.
Thinking about it, at least in the anime, have we met ANY girlfriend who hasn't have a sad or traumatic experience before Rentarou?
-Karane with her tsundereness and insecurities
-Hakari being raised by a single mother who spent a lot of her time working (That's lonely af)
-Shizuka and her issues with her mother
-Nano forcing herself to repress emotions for the sake of efficiency, probably because of expectations
-Kusuri causing people to drift away because of situations with her dr**s
-Hahari losing her boyfriend at an early age and being a young mother
-Kurumi causing people to stay aeay due to her personality issues
-Mei being in the cold and seemingly having given up on life
-Iku with her trauma from causing someone to get hurt
Honestly, Rentarou is quite literally a godsent to all these girlfriends
