so xeno could you check out the amazing anime scissor seven its a anime with great comedy with slap stick self aware humor and it has some heart warming moments and it has i think the best example of a amnesiac protagonist and each episode is 10 minutes to 14 minutes i recommend it as my humble opinion
Long time gundam fan here and I can say for certain that recap episodes and Gundam have a very love hate relationship, just about every series with over 25 episodes has at least one or two recap episodes. There so annoying, especially back in the Toonami days. You get home, you had to deal with pop math and history quizs and some lame class where the teacher bore your mind to death, and then your bus is held for thirty minutes up because of one reason or another so you've already missed the two DBZ episodes that day. Hey, you at least have Gundam Wing you can watch for thirty minute to unwind before you have to remember you have math homework later. So you grab a snack, turn on the TV to Cartoon Network and are ready for some mech of mech destruction, only to find out it is the bloody recap episode! So now you stuck with seeing all the stuff you already know about being replayed, with at best 3 minutes of NEW plot added to the series and you then have to go do your homework after having the one bright spot of your afternoon crushed like a DYING STAR! . . . Fully agree with the recap movie point though, it worked perfectly for the OG Modile Suit Gundam series which is why I say the franchise has a love hate relationship.
