Kanon returning was more awkward than I expected. It’s like she returned to her own funeral.
I already knew about the Kanon not rejoining Liella because of the trailer, but dang I didn’t think she would actually join **New School Idol Club.** (God damn Nintendo). I thought she would just be neutral. Tomari I did expect though.
This is quite similar to SIFAS Association, though luckily not quite as bad because Yuigaoka Director isn’t an ass so both groups can exist. Most of the issues with that came from Nijigaku being made “illegal”
As a side note, RIP Aria. Can’t have her getting too much in the way.
Great first ep, I liked the Kanon-Wien interactions. Let’s hope they have a better script than S2
Super excited for this third season. The only thing I can truly hope for is that they decided to just drop this Keke and Sumire nastiness from the previous seasons. Let’s go Oninatsu!!!
I’d be excited about the two groups if I didn’t expect it to not last very long at all, I give it 3 episodes max.

Though it’s a bit weird to split Liela and Kanon like that, there was probably some plottwist expected rather than just make her join the group for a 3rd year like all other Love Live have done so far.
I still love Margarete as a rival and now being forced to be Kanon’s apprentice. I’m expecting lots of tension and drama with this now formed unit along with new green hair girl.
I just hope that these +2 members on the future new Liella, won’t take too much screen from the really important stuff in the series, like Natsumi’s meme reaction faces and Keke x Sumire’s banter.

Not gonna lie, [I am absolutely tired of Margarete.](https://i.imgur.com/FC9ro97.jpeg) I never liked her in Season 2 and while there were times when her over-the-top personality was hilarious to watch, [now she’s just getting on my nerves](https://i.imgur.com/ivJaiK5.jpeg) especially with how she [refuses any kindness from the girls.](https://i.imgur.com/yDUSBao.jpeg)
As much as I hate to see more of Margarete being all antagonistic against the girls, I suppose this arc is needed if she’s going to eventually join Leilla which we already know will happen because of the OP and ED. I will be honestly impressed if they manage to make her likable by the time she joins Leilla.
Nicee, first episode starts out strong.
Kinda like what happens to the Hero party after they slayed the Demon King, we have what happens to the school idol group after they win Love Live! Fractured! Oh noes, Kanon joins the new rival group! I have a feeling deep down they are going to merge, lmao, its Love Live after all (and that OP and ED). But i dont know what the trigger/challenge/event of that will be.
Quality of the 2D animation is stellar. A pleasure to watch. Pleasant to my eyes. To think over the past year we had been utterly spoiled with 3D CGI CGDCT (MyGo, Girls Band Cry).
OP and ED is so well polished. Especially the OP, its a delight to pick out the graphical details, the clothing physics, hair movements, the semi transparent clothes, choreography, the soft reflections in the floor. Didnt think they could have topped S2’s OP. ED is fantastic as well. You can pause every frame and it all looks so good.
Those awkward moments had me on the edge of my seat, that was so brilliant.
Here’s to more cathartic moments, I’m sure Mr Hanada will deliver, as he did with SoundEuph S3 and and especially GBC.
Great first episode. It was fun watching Kanon feeling awkward and anxious. I’m excited to see the interactions of the two clubs and the girls in the new club. I’m also glad they’re still doing the extra EDs at the end. I always loved the [cute art style](https://i.imgur.com/QLPSrJ9.jpeg) and how calm/laid-back they are.
It’s the first time I’m getting into Love Live since SIF2 shut down almost 5 months ago, and I’m super happy to see Kanon and the whole gang back together again. Not gonna lie, Kanon is my favorite main girl out of the four LL anime series.
We are so back!
I’m surprised by Kanon’s decision, and just like Keke, I’m confused, while I understand why she made that decision, the justification doesn’t seem very convincing to me (except the teaching Margarete part), it’s as if she needs to Show other girls that you are on the same level. But you can’t deny that this is going to be a cool drama to watch, anyway, my favorite Love Live is back, by the way, beautiful OP and ED
