This video was created for Round 3 of Project Org Editor 2024. Original submission comments: “Also known as ‘Frankie Goes to Ostania’. I added this song to my Spy x Family playlist a while ago because Cold War lol, but I don’ t think I would have ever actually made an AMV out of it if not for POE. So thanks for giving me the push to do it! The symbol at the beginning is a parody of the icon that appears in the ‘Protect and Survive’ public information, which were made during the Cold War to be used in the event of a nuclear attack on the UK. They’re also the source of the ‘air attack warning’ samples in the song.” The objective this time was films to combine a retro source with a modern source, so I decided to pair a Cold War song with an anime that’s set during a cold war! I really had a lot of fun with this video (apart from when I was trying to edit it on a very shaky train and had to redo all my blur transitions at home because I accidentally made them too extreme). I’m honestly very proud of myself for getting this out within a week, I think it turned out nicely.
