However, she is quite a strategist, and sometimes her laziness is just a pose to make people let their guard down, and other times she is just genuinely lazy. Her hobbies are napping and fishing. She also loves cats, and often curls up with them in the fields. She is in the same year as Special Week and the others. https://umamusume.jp/character/seiunsky 1998 Satsuki-Sho (G1), 1998 Kyoto Daishoten (G2) 1998 Kikuka-Sho (G2), 1999 Nikkei Sho (G2) 1999 Sapporo Kinen (G2) https://db.netkeiba.com/horse/1995107393/ Uma Musume Pretty Derby (official) game https://umamusume.jp/contents/game/ Uma Musume Pretty Derby (official) anime https://anime-umamusume.jp/ Uma Musume Pretty Derby ROAD TO THE TOP https://umamusume.jp/contents/anime/roadtothetop/ Movie “Uma Musume Pretty Derby Door to a New Era” https://movie-umamusume.jp/ Anime “Uma Musume Cinderella Gray” https://anime-cinderellagray.com/[Race]April 19, 1998 Nakayama Turf 2000m Sunny Good 11th Race Satsuki Sho G1[Result]1st Seiun Sky / Norihiro Yokoyama 2nd King Halo / Yuichi Fukunaga 3rd Special Week / Yutaka Take[Live commentary]Radio Tampa version (JRA) 1998 Satsuki Sho (GI) | Seiun Sky | Official JRA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTG2CJd3OTw Fuji TV series version[Reproduction]2 stars: ★★☆☆☆ A gray stallion born in 1995. He is one of the 98 generation, famous as the “strongest generation” of Japanese horse racing, and is in the same generation as Special Week, King Halo, Grass Wonder, El Condor Pasa, and others. Nishiyama Shigeyuki, who took over Nishiyama Ranch from his father Masayuki, made major reforms, such as drastically streamlining the breeding mares and selling the stallions in his stable. Seiun Sky’s father, Sheriff’s Star, was also sold and disappeared. His progeny was also sold, and at the request of a certain trainer in Ritto, only Seiun Sky and Seiun Area were left, but the trainer did not come to collect them. However, trainer Kazutaka Yasuda, who had taken over from his father Takayoshi Yasuda, who had retired, opened his own stable and visited Nishiyama Farm, where he had a relationship, to manage Seiun Sky. On January 5th, he made his debut in a maiden race at Nakayama Racecourse with jockey Takashi Tokuyoshi on board, and won his first race. He beat the second place by six lengths. On January 25th, he ran in the Junior Cup (open), but after stopping in front of the gate, the starter hit him with a stick, which caused him to dislike gates. He won first place by five lengths. He was promoted to the open class. He developed a sore throat (periostitis) and was put on rest. On March 8th, he made his first attempt at a major race in the Yayoi Sho (GII). He finished second to Special Week by half a length. At the owner’s request, jockey Tokuyoshi was removed from the race. On April 19, he was replaced by jockey Norihiro Yokoyama and ran in the Satsuki Sho (GI), where he won. This was the first victory in the male classic race for Nishiyama Farm and jockey Yokoyama. After the race, he was re-evaluated for starting training due to poor gate entry, and took a gate test. On June 7, he ran in the Tokyo Yushun (GI). In an unexpected turn of events, King Halo took the lead, and Seiun Sky ran in second place, but he did not respond well in the straight, and was defeated by Special Week in fourth place. After the race, he returned to Nishiyama Farm and took a rest. If he had chosen the Kyoto Shimbun Hai (GI) and been re-evaluated for the gate, he would not have been able to run in the Kikuka Sho (GI) due to schedule, so his first race of the fall was the Kyoto Daishoten (GI). On October 11, he ran in the Kyoto Daishoten. He made a 20-horse-length breakaway against three older G1 horses, and it looked like he was caught at the third corner, but he accelerated again and took the lead to win. On the same day, Silence Suzuka also won the Mainichi Okan, and it was said to be “the most brilliant day in the history of Japanese horse racing for a breakaway horse.” On November 8, he ran in the Kikuka Sho. He took the lead in a spectacular breakaway that kept the other horses at bay, setting a world record for the 3000m and taking the win. It is very difficult to win the Kikuka Sho, and many people say that Seiun Sky’s run in this race was the “best in the history of the Kikuka Sho.” On December 27, he ran in the Arima Kinen (G1) and was defeated by Glass Wonder in 4th place. On March 28, he started in the Nikkei Sho (G2). He pulled away from the rest of the pack in the straight and won by 5 lengths over Seiun Area. On May 2, he ran in the Tenno Sho (Spring) (G1) and was defeated by Special Week in 3rd place. He was put on rest due to concerns about his legs. On August 22nd, he ran in the Sapporo Kinen (GII), winning by overtaking from behind. He was put on rest for the autumn races. On October 31st, he ran in the Tenno Sho (Autumn) (G1), losing to Special Week in 5th place. Before the race, Seiun Sky was reluctant to start in the gates, and there was a dispute between the stable and the starting committee over the instructions to start in the gates, resulting in a one-month suspension. After the race, he developed tendonitis and was put on long rest. On April 29th, he returned to the Tenno Sho (Spring) for the first time in a year and a half, losing to TM Opera O in 12th place. He was put on rest due to concerns about his leg. In July, he injured his radius and it was decided that he would retire. On August 19th, a retirement ceremony was held at Sapporo Racecourse. #SeiunSky #SatsukiSho #RaceReenactment #SpecialWeek #KingHalo #UmaMusume #HorseRacing #Cygames #UmaMusume #AMV #UmaMusume #UmaMusumePrinceDerby #HorseRacingGirls #HorseRacingGirlsPrettyDerby
