My wife never watched anime before we met. I think Your Name was the first anime we saw as a couple. Since then, whenever I ask if she wants to watch some anime, she’d ask one question first: “Is it done airing or still ongoing?” If it’s the former, she’d ask me to binge watch it with her. If it’s the latter, she’d regularly ask me, “So when’s the next episode?”
Plus, whenever I pass by a hobby shop and eye a specific anime figure, she’d do an Eren whisper to my ear and say, “What are you waiting for? I know you want it.”
Suffice to say, I converted her, but I might have gotten more than what I bargained for.
