  1. I would love to watch dub if every character didnt have a cringy anime accent.

The only dub ive really really liked was Frieren.

  2. I watch subs because I like hearing stuff in the original language and it helps me practice Japanese comprehension.

Plus hearing white people saying Japanese words makes me cringe.

  3. That’s what it feels like at first, but I got used to it pretty quick. I still occasionally have to pause or go back 5 seconds if I miss something, but not often.

  4. The very first movie I didn’t watch Spanish dub was Matrix reloaded when I was 12, at the beginning of the movie it was like this, but after maybe 10 mins I got used to it, since then, I started to watch every piece of media in their original language, because that way I can appreciate the real acting.

  5. I mean honestly its not even that hard. After the first 2000 hours you just understand the voice, and glance over to confirm, or check an unusual word. /s
But for real i start understanding the more common phrases now. Its fucking crazy.

  6. That is the reason why I didn’t saw that Naruto Shippuden It’s poorly drawn. And I’m not even talking about Naruto vs Pain, but the war too.

  7. try watching the monogatari series without pausing to catch up on the subs. anything else is childs play.

  8. little advice, if your attention needs to 100% focus on subtitles, chances are that absolutely nothing is happening on screen and that you’re experiencing a dialogue
