ngl it’s too long even without filler. onepace does a good job at making the pacing bearable (theres 200+ hours of filler) but you still need to dedicate several months to one anime

The manga does, as the story is fire and just keeps building and delivering.
But I agree, that it was a blessing for anime in general when the Japanese finally discovered the wonders of “seasons” and the breaks in-between them.

One Piece would be better if instead of them making the episodes filled with filler, they just made filler episodes of them doing stuff together not in the manga. Like the Water 7 filler episodes.
