This is all well and good, of course, but for every 1-2 successful live-services there are 10 epic fails. Meanwhile, good single-player games work quite well. And the market always makes its own adjustments.

As an executive for a game studio who loves offline games, it’s almost impossible to make a studio sustainable without considering those in a highly competitive market.
