What anime is that for you?

Frieren. I tried hard to like it and I still consider it an objectively very well made anime, but I dropped it after >!Aura’s death!<, felt like it lost the momentum afterwards, it became too… subdued? Lethargic? I don’t know how to explain it, but it just wasn’t dynamic enough for me. People say the exam arc is good so maybe I’ll finish it in the future.

Demon slayer. Great animation, but the story is bland and…. I can not overstate how much I ABSOLUTELY DESPISE every single primary character design. All of them are annoying in one way or another. I’ll admit I haven’t watched all of it, but I think I’ve seen up to all of season 2. Had no interest in continuing.

  3. Neon Genesis Evangelion… its not “deep” it’s just some whiny depressed bitch boy who won’t get in the fucking robot to save anyone

  4. Code Geass: I was usually doing something else and still would get the majority of the plot through just the Japanese dialog. – Note: I don’t speak or understand that much Japanese.

One Piece. Im at like episode 400+, and fans are still telling me to keep watching cause its about to get good. Why is it taking so long though!?!

Serial Experiments Lain. Don’t get me wrong, I did enjoy it, but after hearing that it was the greatest anime ever and puts Evangelion to shame I guess I just expected more. The animation was decent, the story was okay, and I guess the characters were fine too. I would say it was good, but definitely nowhere near the top.

  7. I’m tired of people hating on animes

Can’t we just agree that it’s up to personal taste and move on with our lifes?

One Piece. Not to say it’s not a great anime, if it turned a lot of people in the world on their heads, it’s certainly doing something right. Problem is, whatever it is doing that is right to them probably isn’t for me.

  9. I would say MHA since it’s the only title I actually couldn’t watch past season 2 and just dropped… But as experience shows, most people surprisingly tend to agree that it’s mid asf, so I hadn’t had anyone try to convince me that it’s peak 😀

One piece can’t get into it the characters are boring the story is boring and I hate the character design.

  11. Hot take, but Jujutsu Kaisen. Some of its cool and enjoyable, maybe like 10-15%, but why you would make a show where the main character is the most boring character out of everyone is beyond me. Plus theres also a ton of B.S. such as “oh yes that atomic blast wouldve killed me, but I manipulated my cursed energy in a way that hasnt been shown before at the EXACT moment of the blast to make my opponent THINK I was dead.”

I did think the movie between season 1 and 2 was really good tho.

  12. My Hero Academia. I simply dropped the after the School festival read the Manga up until the stars and strip arc and dropped that too.

    Tokyo ghoul

I dropped the anime at the beginning of season 2 of obvious reasons and decided to continue with the manga

I dropped that too because the chapters where too long and boring, not to mention hard to follow.
