My mother did that for me, including making sure I knew how to cook everything I liked. As I became an adult and moved out, she sent me these recipes over the years to make sure I had them. It still never quite tasted the same as when my mom cooked it.
She unexpectedly died five years ago. What I wouldn’t give to have her cooking again.
